Day 349 - Sis

For the 20 babies.  The red bud rose represents new love.  May we honor these children by having new love for each other and do better in their memories.

Day 349 - Lisa

A group of girlfriends exchange ornaments each year for Christmas.  We live all over:  Oregon, California, Washington, Idaho, Florida, Colorado, Virgin Islands, Nevada, California and Georgia.  I hope I did not forget a state or country.  It's suppose to have a $15 limit so each year I try to do part of my gift homemade.  This year I KNEW exactly what I was going to do when I found out I drew my friend Clara.  She is a tad obsessed with George Lopez and Ricky Martin.  LOL!  So off to work I went.

Day 348 - Sis

So thoughtful of my sister Chickie for sending this beautiful arrangement for Lisa and my first Christmas in the house. I immediately texted her a thank you with an attached picture of her gift.  I was able to enjoy them, Lisa was at work, for a couple of hours when the florist delivery guy returned and said the order had to be returned, I had to give them back. What?!  Yep, after Chickie saw the picture I texted she was sure it wasn't the one she ordered and promptly cancelled.  We're now expecting another arrangement on Tuesday and I won't send her a picture this time!

Day 348 - Lisa

We had our cookie contest today at work.  Awesome participation.  Everyone left with PLENTY of cookies!

Day 347 - Lisa

Even the cat and dog were exhausted from the tree decorating!

Day 347 - Sis

One of my favorites.  Although I'm a Santa woman, this was given to me a few years ago by an ex coworker, later an employee of Lisa's.  Since Lisa is the snowman collector she has borrowed it to put alongside her others and display it at her job. Okay, it doesn't hurt that the Giants won the World Series and she can do a little gloating and still be in the realm of Christmas!

Day 346 - Lisa

My mom finished our tree.  She ended up decorating it by herself due to my work schedule.  It was not the easiest tree considering the trunk is crooked.  LOL  I'm pretty sure she broke the record on lights and ornaments but it sure is pretty!

Day 346 - Sis

This is how the porch looks on a clear night, but on a day when a downpour blows through, it looks like this.

Day 345 - Lisa

This is such an awesome picture of Mutsun women in the 50's; Claudia Corona (my cousin - not sure how many greats), Frances Moreno Moniz (my great grandma), Josefa Buelna Watson Olivas Moreno (my great great Grandma) and Maria Dioysia (my cousin - not sure how many greats).

Day 345 - Sis

With this sign location of our community, if I'm ever feeling lost, I can just go out in the backyard and know I'm where I'm suppose to be!

Day 344 - Lisa

I seen this on the news, not quite sure what to make of it?  My first reaction was "duh!"

Day 344 - Sis

These are the bulbs Terry and I bought for our first Christmas tree.  At the time he and I thought this was a real splurge!  Well they were costly but they have lasted 50 years. LOL

Day 343 - Lisa

As my mom said we did the Luminary tonight.  It was beautiful.
