As the other one posted we blew some time today "antiguing." First of all, anyone who really knows us knows just how funny that is. Anyway, I found a couple of cool items. I collect cat figurines. As I've stated before I don't like cutsie-poo, I like unique and different. These little kitties are a pair of salt and pepper shakers. My other item is a really striking platter. Although I think I'm inclined to hang it somewhere, someday.
After digitally capturing each day initially in 2010 my Mom (Sis) and I (Lisa) decided to challenge ourselves again in 2011. We went with a different approach; captured whatever enticed us on a weekly basis. So here we are in 2012 deciding now just to keep to the daily challenge of a picture a day from now till whenever we get sick of doing it! There might get some journaling along with our digital images. Whatever we decide, we'll try to be entertaining. Sarcasm is guaranteed!

Day 84 - Sis
As we did today, occasionally Lisa and I roam around an antique store near us. Sometimes at this store I feel like I'm in one of those games where you have to find the hidden objects. Well just take a look at this, baby blue beauty, a home hairdryer from the past! I remember sitting many long, hot, hours under one of these things. What a waste of time for someone like me with the straightest head of hair in my family. My hair stayed "curled" for at least an hour with a a great quantity of AquaNet but my ears stayed red much longer.

Day 83 - Sis
I finished this book yesterday and it only took two days. I guess you could say it was an easy and fast read, thoroughly enjoyable. Wonder if had anything to do with it being in the YA age category, 12 years and up? Hey, it had some big words in it! Now I need to find some prepubescent girlfriends to hang with at the movie!

Day 82 - Sis
A small breeze blows these tree blossoms from their branches. As they lightly skip along the pavement, they then circle the curb and hang out at the corner. Think they may be teen blossoms.;-

Day 81 - Lisa
I'm telling you, I HATE this toy, it ain't right!!!! Now, it's eating our fruit! I'm getting scared that its gong to show no mercy while seeking revenge; being it hasn't a face anymore.
Day 81 - Sis
See all those Xs on my March Madness pool? Those were my picks and no, the x doesn't represent a kiss. They are reminders of how any hope I had of winning this year, I can kiss good-bye!

Day 80 - Lisa
LOL - now this might be taking technology a tad to far. Yes, I'd like to make a reservation for my upcoming emergency. What is this a hotline for psychic patients?
Day 80 - Sis
Almost two weeks ago I had to find some documents, so going through stacks of useless, stored papers, I had to set aside some time to shred them. Took a few hours but finally succeeded in destroying them today. Don't you wish you could take useless parts of your life that have stored themselves in your mind and dispose of them this easily? LOL

Day 79 - Lisa
Suffering the pollen woes. 6000 was the record 20 years ago, today was in the 8000's. Oy, I'm so hurting.
Day 79 - Sis
Dog-Diarrhea= Doggy Diet. It also means hurried trips outside in the middle of the night, not what I like about this part of dog ownership.

Day 78 - Sis
Decades ago this would have been a perfect playground for the gang of kids I hung around with daily. Add a dog, along with our imagination, to see a high mountain to climb, bear hunting, Indians scouting, cowboys and Indians games, quiet place to rest, etc. All free then, no entry fees, taxes, helmets, body padding, concession stands or parents. Of course a possibility of picking up a tick, bug bites, scratches, slivers would be the real dangers for the day; which might be a big deal if you were the one it happened to but you'd go back the next day for another round.
