Day 314 - Lisa

I'm not a big fan of Krispy Kreme but right now about 10 of these might see me through this Saturday at work.  Whew boy!

Day 314 - Sis

My daughter, much to my surprise, pulled into the garage.  Don't know if she did it to avoid the frost in the early morning or if she thought is was a  drive-thru establishment and I was suppose to put on skates to bring her a window tray full of food!

Day 313 - Lisa

I usually love Fridays but this is the second one in a row that does not see me having a Saturday off.  I love Fall but dread inventory season.  Right now I'm in so deep I can't see straight.

Day 313 - Sis

Once beautiful, flourishing, plants are looking a little tired so time to trim, transplant and try different locations.  Hmmm, that could apply to many people too.

Day 312 - Lisa

My mama and I went to dinner with a co-worker of mine.  We ate at Longhorn's.  They've changed their western theme over the past year.  Less Indians and well, thankfully less of this pictures.  Kind of curbs the appetite.

Day 312 - Sis

She thinks now that she had a successful escape to the outside that every door or window is a possible visit to the outside.  She also thinks by howling, meowing and getting underfoot someone is going to open it for her and there are days I consider it!

Day 311 - Sis

I did it and hope you have too.  Very nice having the polling place practically across the street, ahem, a main highway. Also the fact that I was voting in a church meant I could vote making a difference and pray I wouldn't fall down running across the road!

Day 311 - Lisa

We added another peacock to the sitting room. I'm not sure what the symbolism is of teapots and peacocks combined is.  I sure it will cause many a visitors to cock their heads.  Bad pun, I know.

Day 310 - Lisa

Voted!

Day 310 - Sis

I had to use all of the frozen bread instead of the one I planned on baking for our lasagna dinner.  When I removed the package of three out of the freezer they were smashed together so let them thaw and got out some mini loaf pans.  Divided and left to rise they seemed to have exploded or I was channeling Lucy Ricardo.

Day 309 - Lisa

My Tia Chickie sent us some Giants goodies.  I guess she thinks my head is much bigger than it really is.  It's the only thing on me that's apparently been on a diet.

Day 309 - Sis

As the sky darkens, my telling my daughter I'd barbecue steaks for dinner doesn't seem like such a great idea. Watching football and cutting out coupons seems to match my energy level much better.  Oh and then there's my sample ballot to look over and make my selections.  My life is becoming quite complicated! ;-)

Day 308 - Sis

Still feeling the effects of yesterday's yard work. Thankfully these two items helped me today in getting dinner ready for guests and cleaning for their visit.  Yes we get to use the dining room twice in less than month to entertain. Sat down with two of Lisa's guys from the California days for a dinner cooked practically on it's own. Roast, potatoes, carrots and onions prepared by one machine, leaving green beans and salad fixed, in 20 minutes,  by me. Pet hair and dust swept away by the other little helper. If only it could be that easy for the victims north of us.
